Combat Fatigue-fatigue is a common symptom of hypothyroidism. “For help with energy, I take power naps,” she says. “These naps make a huge difference in how much energy I have at the end of the day." For optimal benefit, the National Sleep Foundation suggests keeping naps to 20 to 30 minutes so you don’t fall into a deep sleep, and napping in the mid-afternoon so you won’t have trouble falling asleep at night.
